Introduction
“Imposter” is a science fiction short story by Philip K. Dick about Spence Olham, a designer of a weapon to destroy invading aliens accused of being an android impostor. Olham tries to clear his name and prove his humanity, but discovers the real Spence Olham has been killed, and the android triggers a planet-destroying bomb. The story is a thrilling exploration of identity and deception in a world where the line between human and machine is blurred.

Modernity and Roughness
The illustration stylization used the keywords “modernity and roughness” to create a futuristic look while still maintaining a humanistic feel. This was achieved by incorporating sharp, modern lines with rougher, more organic textures to create a balance between the two themes. The use of a limited color palette with bold accents helped to emphasize the futuristic nature of the piece while still conveying the humanity of the characters. Overall, illustrations aimed to capture the tension between humans and alien forces in a visually compelling way that felt both modern and grounded in humanity.
All things that is related to alien forces have blue/light blue and red/yellow gradient accent.
